The client, a toy podcast, asked for enamel pins of their slogan. They wanted the final product to mirror their 90’s nostalgia theme. We looked to classic ToyBiz packaging for inspiration.

The final card art mirrored the iconic gradients, colors and fonts of Marvel comics and figures. The unmistakable peg cut-out at the top of the card pulls together the action figure packaging imagery. The Toy’R’us and KBToys price stickers were added as an homage to two cultural touchstones.

ToyMigos used these cards as backings for their “They’re Not Toys” slogan and ToyMigos logo pins. Both products were available in their online store and in social media giveaways. I partnered with PinPlugged for production and had the cards printed and delivered to the client directly.
